The relocation of Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) from Jakarta to East Kalimantan introduces additional geostrategic considerations. It is undeniable that the transfer of the Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) to East Kalimantan Province will have repercussions for Indonesia in the future, as it has been considered for several years. The experience of various countries that have relocated their capitals will provide input and considerations that can be used as more appropriate analysis material to examine problems in Indonesia, particularly in the areas of national defense and security for the welfare of the people, with the integration and blending of main, reserve, and support components (Sishankamrata).
